The only problem for me playing an Argonian

Post » Sun Aug 22, 2010 12:21 pm

Like I said, puberty did wonders for Josh Peck. He only got minor rolls as a kid. As he grew, he starred in the successful show Drake and Josh, and is also going to star in the remake of Red Dawn, coming later this year.

That Stuart Little kid fizzled out pretty quick. Heck, I didn't even know his name.

I forgot to add the Olson twins to the list of kids that puberty ruined.

See that's where your confusing me. You have Josk Peck and the Olson Twins on the same list. Your saying that Josh Peck got better with puberty, while the olson twins got ruined?

How are you being confused? I never said they were on the same list.

Josh is on the list of "better with puberty"

Olson Twins are on the list of "worse with puberty"

What's so hard to grasp in this statement?

Oops man my bad, I thought they were on the same list

Anyway let's try and get this back on topic...

Argonian is my favorite type of race, I hate being a vampire so I don't have to worry as much about catching it. And escaping through water is awesome. Not to mention having a single dorsal ridge haircut and pretending to be a shark.

Just change the fight music and you're ready to Jaws-roleplay!

Don't worry, happens to all of us. :P

Anyway, you're right about getting back on topic.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again; I can't play with beast races! I appreciate them being there, but for heavens sake, I can't live with that tail wagging around!

Ok I get that, but argonians are the only ones with tails if it really bugs you so much. But orcs are awesome! They're pure beasts, how can you not like that?

Tbh I hate Kajiit's, Nothing scary about a kitty cat.

My Khajiit would bash a barmaids face in with his fists for not having a bottle of his kind of drink, take her head, and decorate his house with these heads. I'm not sure about you, but that is one scary cat.
But then again, to each their own.

Actually, Orcs are classed as elves. According to lore, long ago, Orcs were a kind of elf, but there was a falling out of sorts, and Orcs were cursed to be how they are now. They used to be called Orsimer.

The only beasts in Oblivion are Khajit and Argonians, both of which have tails.

Here's the source for Orc history, if you're interested.

Also bookmark the http://www.imperial-library.info/. It's very useful, and a must if you want to discuss the lore of the game. :)

I've never been able to play an Orc (or a Khajiit, for that matter), because they're just... ugly. :D I want to be pretty, if I have anything at all to say about it. I always play the Elven races, especially Wood Elves have always been "my thing" since my very first time playing a TES game. An Argonian I could stomach (but only because in Morrowind I like that one Argonian Hul in Balmora that's really nice to you in the beginning of the game), the humanlike races are sort of boring. I want to be different than the real me in games!

Give the http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14417 a try. It de-pigs Orcs. I used it to redo http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/subrosa_florens/oblivion/Oblivion283.jpg, and think she came out rather well.

But that editor just makes them look like green people. Orcs are meant to be a different species which is why they have got pig noses and teeth like boars.

i'd date this mazoga right now. but she doesnt look like any orc at all.

if i may, i played neverwiter nights 1 a lot and orcs there were too an ugly bunch (looked more fearsome than TES), but the only orc head that i saw was awesome looked like a uruk-hai sort of head. to the extent that i acuatlly made and orc berserker named Ur?k-Hai, only coz that head was available.

I like playing as Argonian, I played one in Morrowind, I love the way they looked back then. Now they've got the same feet as everyone else, what happened to my Argonians beast feet?

That's the only issue I have with Argonians in Oblivion.

Actually they are the same species as all the other elves. They just got daedra doo doo all over them after Boethiah pooped out Trinimac is all. Just like Dark Elves turned blue after getting Azura whizz on them. Since Dark Elves don't look like pigs, I do not see any reason that Orisimer should either. Since its my game, I happily fixed that.

But Orcs are SUPPOSED to be ugly. With that mod, they'd just look like people with some wierd disease that turns your skin green. Not everyone's supposed to be pretty, which is why I don't have any mods that touch NPCs. They can be ugly for all I care. :P
