As you can see it won't allow me to upload this picture http://i860.photobucket.com/albums/ab162/zollum/gamesasavatar.jpg?t=1285887316 as an avatar, but the file is in one of the allowed formats, has this happened before and does anyone know how to fix it.

Whats with all the nonsense after the .jpg format?
Do you think the forums might be reading all that stuff as a format, thus giving you an error message?
