Merge an esp into an esm?

Post » Wed Aug 25, 2010 11:29 am

My spawn module seems to cause issues if its not an esm. Which wasn't a problem back when I worked with FO3 editing because I used fancy editor called FO3Plugin to easily merge esps into esms. Every time I made changes to the esm I saved them out as a new esp then used FO3plugin to merge the esp into the esm. It worked pretty well.... For some reason not even thinking about it I made a bunch of changes to my esm and saved them as an esp to later merge as I always did with no trouble before.

Problem, there is no FO3Plugin for New Vegas... For some reason I figured that FNVEdit can merge esps into esms. Can it? it doesn't seem to want to work...

So now I have two plugins.. How do I merge these in the New Vegas environment?

Yes I'm pretty sure FNVEdit can do it.....I don't know how to go about doing it but Miaximus, or JustinOther are a couple of the much more knowledgeable peeps than I and they are always helpful.

I've been told FNVEdit can do it (but trying to figure it our myself,too)
Otherwise I've been using TESSNip, which is a little more manual, but works.

JustinOther explains how to do it with FO3Edit in post #2 of this thread - http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1027770-fo3plugin-vs-fo3edit/page__pid__14879644__st__0&#entry14879644

FNVEdit == FO3Edit (renamed)
