Hello, Installed Fallout 3 yesterday, played fine then and today when i was about to play it again it just wouldnt get past the loading screen after pressing Continue in the menu but insted CTD.

The fix i found to work was to plug in my USB speakers, yep, that solved it.. the things that makes this game crash is scary, (when i played it yesterday my USB speakers WAS plugged in)

Might be that my USB speakers are set to Standard and whenever im gonna play a FPS game or use voice chat i just pull out the USB and use my headset as the sound isnt streamed to both units at the same time.

Maybe the game is trying to send primary sound to speakers (my headset had the Fallout3 sound steaming when USB speakers was not plugged in) and when it couldnt i sent it to the speakers it sent it to the headset insted which might have caused a conflict that brough about the CTD i dunno i only know plugging in my USB speakers got me past the loading screen and into the game.
