it would be difficult to extend because the strip is surrounded by other stuff. plus new casino's would require an epic amount of modeling work.

I did see some wip pictures somewhere that opened up some areas behind the current casinos. No idea if it was added area or just area that was previously blocked.

That, or they could upgrade the current strip. It's supposed to be the one untouched place in the wasteland, a bustling city, yet there are like, so few NPCs walking around, so little bustle, a lot could be done to improve the atmosphere.

Without having checked im pretty sure it's in it's own cell, so it's not like it would spill into freeside or anything.. and mismatched outer/inner proportions isn't anything new to Fallout ;) Say hi to Dinky

Indeed. I was pretty dissapointed in it. Took my time going there making sure to finish off most outside quests in anticipation of the grand finale and then it's just a couple casinos, some securitrons and drunken NCR troopers wandering about.

One of my favorite FO3 mods was the DC Interiors project.

There are lots of intact, boarded up buildings and stores that already have signs and stuff up that you can't go in (many in Freeside, and many more outside of Vegas).
Would be great if someone or some people decided to make an Interiors project mod for this game as well.

Not just a bunch of empty rooms full of swag, too. I mean, those would be easiest, certainly, but adding a little bit of content would be welcome as well. :P
New shops, maybe. Etc.

Well, speaking of Freeside, I am working on something for one of the buildings there. Not ready to reveal any details though, the interior is finished, as is the exterior. Just some scripting, dialogue and quests remaining. I'm not revealing anything seeing as I'm honestly starting to get a bit tired of NV, I rushed through it on the first playthrough and I regret it, I feel like I've seen pretty much all there is to see. I might get the passion so to speak back, but that's why I'm taking my time with this mod and not revealing anything too early.

Someone taking offense at a person misspelling a word that a simple embedded spell checker would have spotted? Why on earth?

Although, he could have simply been seeing the humorous side of your mistake. That a drug being marketed in the U.S. bears a similar name, for men with certain difficulties.

That would be pretty cool. more people walking around and doing things atleast. Even though it would be a lot of work, another couple casinos would really be cool.

I've been considering adding a mall on the strip (with several specialist merchants, and room for other modders to insert their own shops), near the NCR embassy. Not sure if I will yet. I also know a friend of mine is considering redoing the Lucky 38 and making it into an actual casino. Rest assured, the Strip will be heavily modded sooner or later.

So you are in turn insulting me for not using an embedded spellchecker on a typo I didn't see to begin with? Or what?

Giving attitude when trying to present an idea is not a great first impression.

Sounds like a mod could be made of this that adds a new chem. Perhaps for use in some areas of the strip or surrounding area.
