Hiya!

I've been working solo so far but I'd love to get more input on my mods than just what the Nexus brings in. So I thought I'd make a topic for my mods here! ^_^

WIPz:
*Non-cheat versions of the DLCC plugins along with limited content such as alien ammo added to level lists.

And two new things I've started to work on recently:

1. A weapon/tribute mod to the webcomic Problem Sleuth. So far it contains the following {values in these brackets are subject to change}:
*A hairpin which randomly changes back and forth every {30 seconds} to an incredibly heavy minigun named "Hairpin" with infinite ammo but truly terrible accuracy.
*A keyring... {30 seconds} to a sub machine gun named "Keyring" with infinite ammo and truly terrible damage along with an extremely high firing rate.
*A key... {30 seconds} to a revolver named "Key" with infinite ammo and very high damage but a re-fire rate so slow you'll be lucky to get a few bind shots off before the 30 seconds are up.

I'd like to work in a message some how which says "Your Key is out of bullets!" and such. Perhaps when the weapon gets changed back? I also plan to possibly add a different time span for different versions of the weapons. So the hairpin might become a minigun for 30 seconds but only do so at least 5 mins after the last time. Or possibly the hairpin could change to a hairpin weighting as much as the minigun with some probability? =D Any thoughts fellow MSPA fan modders?


2. My first idea in this topic which I didn't blatantly steal from someone else is something I'm planning on calling "Escape from Powder Prison" Catchy title don't you think? The mod will be playable regardless of your status with the Powder Gangers because this will be a separatist fraction and will take place in the hidden Supermax Section of the prison. The entrance will still be inside the normal prison though so if you're hated and haven't killed them all you'll have to fight through. I intend the gameplay to be absence combat and instead focus on thinking puzzler things along the lines of the many room escape flash games. I'm planning on adding a few death traps ala Cube Experimental because some of those were fun to encounter but I'll try and make them easier to avoid or disable if you take your time and look for clues. Some easy platforming is also not out of the question. (Nothing on the insanity level of Cube Experimental! Don't worry!) I might add some dialogue challenges for fun and entertainment but I'm still leery of trying the dialogue system in NV after trying Fallout 3's on several occasions.

(And yes I know how to use commas. But my comma key is broken ATM. Seriously! >_ ... >_>)

Q: Where can I download the textures and meshes from the DLC without buying the DLC?
