Fallout .ini?

Hello :)

I've noticed on a couple of Mods, you're required to mod the .ini.
Now on FO3, I used Archiveinvalidated (or whatever it was called), but the new version for NV I just don't get.

I'm just wondering, will the "toggle invalidation" button on NVMM work instead of changing the .ini? If not, I can't find the .ini anywhere, can someone point me in the right direction (I've looked in the NV folder and the Data folder and no luck).

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1138765-relz-fallout-mod-manager/ Kaburke has released FOMM. It one tool can manage both New Vegas and FO3.

Ignore this post if you already know this. :)

The .ini file is in your Documents folder, not the install folder. As for if NVMM will work, it depends on what the .ini edits are supposed to be. I believe the Mod Manager just changes the 0 to 1 for invalidateoldfiles (or whatever it is exactly.) If you're supposed to make other edits, backup the file and do it yourself.
