Exactly as the title says, the GECK is crashing everytime I try to edit the Navmeshes in my exterior. Does anyone know a good workaorund for this.

Give us more details. This should not happen, as far as I know, to anyone at all. Unless you mean periodically. It crashed for EVERYONE every once in a while, but should not instantly. When does it crash? How often? Just save alot if its just 'frequent' and thats the best you can do.

As soon as I try to enter navmeshing mode, the toolbar appears then it crashes, every single time.

This is not common or typical behavior, so clearly something is amiss. I recommend first isolating the problem a little better;

1. Try editing another world space, something like MegatonWorld or any place that you have not modded or touched, and see if you get the same crash there.

2. Try editing the Navmesh of an Interior cell and see if you get crashes on that, and if not, if you see all of the red triangles render correctly in your view.

You could have anything from a memory problem to a bad cell to any number of possibilities. See if you can narrow it down a little and post back what you find.

Seems to be working now, maybe it was just the ESP? Anyways I've tested it in game and it seem to fine without navmeshes there's no other error. :shrug:

So you can edit other places just fine? Sounds like you did somehow mess something up with your esp. Though I am not really sure what could cause this. What all does your mod add? Perhaps you need to take a look at it in FO3edit.

It just adds a small exterior location, no new Editor ID's or anything just using vanilla objects.

Hmm its weird that it wont let you navmesh it then... If you havent done much I suggest you restart. But if you have already done alot of work then try using FO3edit to find whats wrong.
