Question: Anyone know if we'll get a New Vegas version of Sh

So, having gotten quite far into the game a number of times, now...

... I find myself becoming more and more interested in simply playing out the lives of my characters, rather than the main quest of the game. Sometimes these little experiments do wind up being involved in the main quest somehow. Sometimes they live out in the middle of nowhere with a slightly derranged dog-pet and a former slave-girl doing jet and living off the land.

Either way... what these kinds of experiences require... are the two mods I mentioned.

But as much as I looked around... I really saw no mention of whether anyone was working on anything which could either replace or emulate these two wonderful mods.

Anyone know anything?

I've never heard of that All Speak mod, but I really wish I had it when I was using SSC. Love that mod and hope for a port soon.

I'm planning on making a vast army of the Junkie npcs from Aerotech Office Park with me as their ruler.

I'm halfway through rewriting Companion Share & Recruit for NV (the Oblivion mod SCC was inspired by), although with NVSE out it might be quicker to just port over the existing CSR.

Inspired, eh? The word I'm thinking of is not that one

Anyway, CSR is preferable. I used it for the other two games and it's not the same without it :)

Toaster, will your mod CS&R work in conjunction with Phalanx? Er... if Tarrant doesn't mind that is? =D?

I used Phalanx along with CS&R back when I was playing Fallout 3 and in my opinion, that's what made the game really nifty on my end.

In the past the 2 have not interfered with one another as long as you didn't use the CS&R commands on the regular followers. I am suspecting that Toaster's NV one wouldn't have a pressing need to be different in that.

NV should be easier about this actually, because NV's Phalanx does not bring 3 extra follower REFs into the picture like FO3's does.

It won't interfere with Phalanx followers, but as per FO3 they won't work together- CSR is just too intrusive to really work over the top of Phalanx, it needs to make the assumption that /only/ CSR packages are running on the actor and anything else is an error.
