Caravan not working. : Fallout: New Vegas

When I play Caravan the NPC's don't bet anything. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?

How many NPCs have you tried? Only the first one didn't bet anything for me.

I've tried Cobb, the guy in Primm, and the guy in Novac. None of them placed any bets.

Yes, few others are having this problem as well as other problems.

None of those threads however have gone anywhere as to fix the problem. I am to assume we are screwed until it is patched? If So that kind of svcks since this is Vegas, and Vegas without gambling isn't Vegas at all.

The first patch fixed it for me.
