Ok so if this is posted in the wrong forum I apologize I didn't know were else to put it.

So I just got steam and bought Fallout 3 GOTY its cool. then I found this site.
http://www.cheatcc.com/pc/fallout3cheatscodes.html With tons of cheat codes. But the only ones I can get to work is God mode and sixchange. Could someone help me out? What am I missing to get all the other cool ones to work, For example, I want the Apocalypse Gladiator Armor so I press ~ then type in the corresponding code 000CB5F6 then enter but a note pops up saying Not valid or syntax error. Is there something else I should be typing in before or after the code. Please could someone help me out?

P.S. keep in mind this is the first computer game outside of solitaire I have ever had.

I believe you have to type player.additem before the code number.

You also need to add an amount.
