I mean this is a Fan Fiction thread, but i see almost twice as many Role-playing threads. are they just more preferred?
The reason is i was thinking of getting my writing skills into shape, i was looking at old stories i wrote when i was younger (and GCSE's soon anyway), so i thought where else could i post a story and get good comments?
Anyway I mainly came back looking for fun. This thread had slipped my mind for years. So would it be more worth to join an RP thread or start a Fan fiction?
If its RP thread, any you'd recommend, i dont really know where to start.
If its a fan fiction, well what do you want it based on (obviously oblivion related)? im flexible

RP threads are more active cause they are easier to do cause they can fill them with crap. Few people makes an effort to make the RP truely good, like the one Loranna used to have.

Writing good fan fiction takes effort and most people are lazy.

Write something that you like so you won't quit after chapter one. If you want to learn how to write: hard work is basically your first lesson.

wow quick reply, thanks. so a fan fiction requires more hardwork and effort, and RP's are more active because they have more junk in them? makes the desicion a lot easier

It isn't that simple I would say, I would certainly have a bone to pick with someone who said my RP was filled with crap :stare: Plus the Immortal Blood Timeline is one of the best Roleplays I've seen in a long time, due to it's scope, it's immense. I wish I had more time for it.

Anyways, if you do fancy joining an RP, you could always give it a try, Those Remaining, it's on its seventh thread now but we're always looking for fresh blood!

You still have to read the roleplays of course, some people have a tendency to read the last three posts and they have been gone for a good two weeks, thus confusing those who were active at the time.

Golly, I remember that. Of course, a big help was the fact that devs were playing along too, so...

The devs didn't play along from start. The only reason the devs started to participate in it, was because they were impressed by how well-made the RP was, and how much depth it had.
