I need help getting back into the modding game...

About a year ago on my old PC I became dedicated to modding Morrowind. I kept on top of all the most recent mods and MGE and such here while scouring the Fileplanet databases downloading mods from page to page. My Morrowind directory was probably 25GB+. Anyways, that was on my old PC and I eventually gave up because no matter how many utilities I used (some stuff to solve conflicts and merge stuff...I don't remember exactly what I did), too much stuff conflicted and I couldn't play anymore without disabling stuff.

Now that I'm coming back into the whole thing on my new PC with a 1tb harddrive, I want to make the most of Morrowind that I can. Can someone link me on the necessary utilities and such to get me started? I remember back when I did this last time I had to do a lot of stuff manually and it would've made things a lot easier for me if someone just told me what I needed.

Also, are there any graphical compilations that can take care of all the basics? (I remember there being a mod that combined the all the face mods, bodies, clothes, books, etc. into one large 3gb download...anything like that around except newer?)

Thank you!

Well, there are many thousands of mods, and dozens of tools available for Morrowind. But Pluto's http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1060141-mod-recommendations-for-new-players/ thread is a very good place to start.

Thank you, I'll check it out. If anyone has anything additional to throw on top of that, I'd appreciate it. Hopefully there are more recent tools and such floating around that makes modding easier.

If you bother to read that thread, you'll see that info is there.
