Haven't looked into it a lot, but I thought it was just general xenophobia; most races exhibit this to an extent: Nords call Dunmer, if not ALL mer, devils, and one group of elves (or some race) expresses a fair amount of animosity towards Bosmer, claiming they are the "mongrel" result of mer taking mannish wives, or something like that.

On the other paw, all you smooth-skins sorta look alike to us, and we don't trust anything that lacks scales. We trust slaughterfishes more, they have scales at least.

Because Argonians are jealous of Kahjiit for being so awesome when the only thing Argonians can do better is swim. But no really it's just the programers either trying to add a little realism with there being intolerance between races or their trying to make us intolerant.

Since when?

There's only one Argonian that comes to my mind who actually openly "hates" Khajiit (Dar-Jee), and his Khajiit joke was so corny and tame that it didn't sound very racist at all.

Besides, the Khajiit and Argonians already have the Bosmer and Dunmer as targets of hatred (respectively), and for perfectly valid reasons.

I don't think they hate each other generally. However, Leyawin is a special case. First off, it sits on what was once the border between Elswyr and Argonia, and doubtless, the two sides have probably raided each other for as long as there have been Argonians and Khajiit. Secondly, it was fairly recently conquered and brought into Cyrodil's fold, and divide-and-rule tactics have probably exacerbated existing tensions further.

I don't think they really hate each other for the most part. I do believe they both have a stronger dislike of Dunmer then each other though.

Argonians might hate Khajiits but Khajiits also hates Argonians. i think they are both stupid, they should be friends instead and hate the other races as it was them who maked them slaves. Khajiits and Argonians have things in comon and if they worked together, they would might be able to actually do something.

Argonians hate Khajiit because cats hate dogs but we don't have any dog race in the ES so we make due with lizards. Though frankly said I think that one just got past quality control.

I haven't encountered anything that would support saying Argonians in general hate Khajiits in general. Even other Argonians agree-- Dar-Jee's "jokes" are terrible. ...mostly because they're lame even if you've got something against cats.

But I do know of a certain Khajiit in Leyawiin who has some serious racism against Argonians! But I don't take it as a Khajiiti viewpoint, but rather an isolated case .....of envy.

I love them both, but argonian was my favourte when i joined but now i prefer the altmer they match my personality more.

I once said on the forums: "Its my duty to help those less forunate then myself, thats why i replyed"
No one got the joke and thought i was a jerk ^_^

They're bitter because people frequently consider them (and people who play as them) to be furries. (i just play as a argonian because i'm fond of lizards, but not to the extent of furryism). i want to punch those worthless Bigots known as imga. intolerant of other races? my sword is intolerant of your neck!

I believe it was an argonian that said take them out to the water and shoot them with an arrow if you can water walk of course that could apply to all races in ob.

I've never heard of an Argonian say that.

Anyway, the bottom line is that Argonians hate Dunmer, not Khajiit. They don't HAVE a good enough reason to hate Khajiit. The end.
