You get epoxy in zeta for weapons....I'm just a little curious.
You can repair weapons with parts from same or same type weapons,pay for repair,or use epoxy.
Does some kind of a third option exist for armour?

Not unless you use a mod. Armor/clothing can only be repaired with other matching armors or by paying NPCs to do it.
