HT - Omega Striker Drivers

So I’ve had the game for 2 days now and experienced the save game problem, random crashes (at least 1 per hour) and Blue screen of Deaths.
Today the new patch came out however I still have the issue with the saved games and random crashing.

Crashes: Most of the time the application freezes and the sound loops continuously.
BSOD: The screen will flicker then the BSOD will display for around 2 seconds then reboot (I didn’t get a chance to write the error down) - This has only happened Twice

So I went and updated both my video card drivers and Soundcard drivers to eliminate any issues with old drivers.

CPU: I7 860
RAM: DDR 3 4GB
Video: Radeon 5870 Latest Drivers
Sound: HT Omega Striker Latest Drivers
OS: Windows 7 X64

So after getting fed up and receiving 3 crashes in a row after only 5 mins of game play (even after my driver update) I took a look in the event viewer to find that most of my crashes resulted from HSSrv.dll which turns out is part of HT Omega Strikers drivers.

Faulting application name: FalloutNV.exe, version: 1.1.1.271, time stamp: 0x4cc0aa87
Faulting module name: HsSrv.dll, version: 1.0.9.903, time stamp: 0x4a9f76b3
Exception code: 0x40000015
Fault offset: 0x0001795f
Faulting process id: 0xc64
Faulting application start time: 0x01cb7190200be5e4
Faulting application path: c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\FalloutNV.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\HsSrv.dll
Report Id: ad9e8706-dd84-11df-9a04-6cf0495d2475

I thought I’d bring it up since it is driving me insane; I’m sure I’m not the only one. I've switched to my onboard soundcard for now until a fix becomes available.

Alright! so to update everyone on the HT Omega Striker drivers vers 7.12.8.1740

I just played 4 hours last night crash free after doing the following:

Launch the HT Omega Striker audio utility.
Turn off EX XEAR3D and 7.1 Virtual Speaker Shifter

I also changed the S/PDIF output from DTS to DolbyDigital-LIVE but I dont believe this aided in resolving the problem, turning off the above 2 features most likely resolved the driver conflict.

Happy Gaming!
