I just started really getting in TES, so I'm no loremaster. I find it extremely difficult to sort out the hesaid/shesaid matters of the fiction and generally to pick out the facts from the flotsam. @.@

Necromancy is not against the law in Tamriel. The Mages Guild just frowns upon it.

Depends on where you are in Tamriel :P

And if you're on this forum, it's certainly frowned upon to dig up topics like this that are rotting into dust in their little forum coffins. ;)
