Kuruks Journal

If you dont want to read the description and crappy backstory, wait for my next post as it starts the journal.

I'm going to be writing a journal of sorts for my character in the First Person. I got the idea that every time something significant happens in the game, I will make a journal entry for it in the FP perspective. I am playing the game a little different to make it semi more realistic. I am playing on Very Easy, no HUD or cross-hairs, and an endurance of 1. I can only carry 10 items or 60lbs of weight not including weapons or clothes or ammo. My ammo is restricted to five magazines worth. No medical items can be carried, only used on pick-up nut no limb fixing. I can have two guns, three grenades and two landmines, and one melee weapon. No auto saves. VATS is unlimited but I can not use perks to increase it. No scrounger or anything like that. On level ups i can only assign 5 points to any given skill. Perks to improve skills are permitted as I see them like experience your character has come to learn through their time in the wastes. I'm sure there is more i'm forgetting something else but you get the idea.

A little back story before I move onto the journal entries since i'm going to start the entries some time into the characters life. His name is Kuruk (Apache for Bear). He is of Native American decent. His parents were in the Midwest area of the US where some native American tribes accumulated on the reservations in order to survive the wastes. Well, some slavers captured Kuruk's parents and over the time of about a 12 years they were traded repetitively and finally ended up in the capital wastes to be sent to The Pitt. Kuruk was born in captivity. Kuruks father managed to spring the family out of their cage, by killing some slavers, and they made their way south settling in Rivet City. When Kuruk was 17 he left and went to Megaton where he was hired by Myra Brown to bring in his loot, and when she sold it they would split commissions.

Now that's not a very interesting back story, but the fan-fic is made of the journal entries. My next post will be the first entry, until then I need some time to play. Keep in mind I am starting at level 3 in megaton so don't expect any tremendous battles right away.
