Patch 1.01?

Post » Thu Sep 09, 2010 7:53 am

But I have.

Now, I've yet to even touch my game due to still being in my 10-day warranty to the store I originally bought it from. Has a new patch besides the one released on the 22nd been released today - And thus making the game playable now? I've been waiting almost a week to open the wrap on this game, and I'd just like to know if the game is safe to play. Forget little clippings, frame rate issues and loading times - I can easily look past them. I'm talking the Save-game crashes, VAT system freezes, quest bugs, The Strip freezes? Anything that will just make me go FFFFFUUUUUUU.

Seeing as I'm a completionist, I want all of the achievements on this game. I don't want to get one, only to have things mess up on me. Call me whatever, but it's how I play my games. Any insight as to whether I can actually boot this game up and play will be appreciated.

MojaveWanderer.

EDIT - Just noticed the site I was looking at linked me to this site, and to a post I have already read. Even more confused now.

Far as i know there has been no other update. So the major issues are still there such as the corrupted save files. I dont think they have issued when the new patch will be out, but my estimate is around Christmas time(at the very very very latest).

I hate to say it, but patiently waiting until they come out with a second patch would probably be the best course of action. I'm not touching the game until they fix the DLC bug. Even if I have to backtrack and load a really old save, I'll be content as long as I'm assured I won't be subjected to the bug again. With that said, I'm running out of patience, myself. Ah, so there isn't a new patch available? Great. Argh, I have three days to decide whether to take it back or just actually wait for the second patch to hit - Which no doubt won't appear before my warranty expires. I saw little point in starting a broken game. I might just wait and forget about my warranty.
The site got my hopes up, until I read the link to the post which I found almost four days ago. Oh well.

EDIT - Any mods, to save any confusion please close/delete this thread. It happened in another.
