Larger text fonts mod

Post » Thu Sep 09, 2010 9:31 am

I've been searching for such a mod on planetelderscrolls and tesnexus, and I've used Yacoby's search engine too, but I can't find anything. Not even on Google (except someone else asking for the same thing like me). I play at 1680x1050 and the text is too small in game. I have to squint and move my head in real close (I do wear glasses when gaming). The Journal's text is also blurry. I was wondering if there was a way to increase font size, and maybe fix the journal too?

Thanks.

I was searching for 'text font size' and that never came up. It looks like exactly what I want. Thanks man, I'll try it out!

EDIT: Well I followed the simple instructions and it doesn't work. All the font remains the same, no changes. I'm using W7 64 bit if that helps.

FPS Optimizer has the ability to magnify the UI text. It works ok, but is not perfect.

I'll try it out. I don't know why 'Make MW Fonts' isn't working.

How do I zoom in? I can't find the option neither in Novice mode nor in Advanced mode (FPS optimizer).

Turn off novice mode, and go to the misc|2 tab.
At the bottom is the 'in-game interface size multiplier' option - it probably shows 'disabled' in gray lettering.
Use the slider to change the magnification factor from x1.1 up to x2.

There is no toggle or adjustment while in-game, you'll need to set the multiplier before playing.

Found it, and it works. Thanks man. :) This will have to do since the other mod won't work.

EDIT: Although it seems everything becomes slightly squashed.
