Start looking for Snowblglobes and sell them to Mr. House, also, look for Fiends around New Vegas, alot of them fight with these tommy gun looking laser weapons, these can fetch some good caps too :)

If you're (a little bit) evil and don't use energy weapons, rob the Silver Rush in Freeside. Don't forget to bring some companions for pack-mule purposes :celebration:

Right.. didn't see your lvl 3 post.. scavenge scavenge scavenge.. always take weight free things with you and stuff with high value to weight ratio. Then dump the junk at vendors.

Try hunting Geckos around Goodsprings and selling their meat and hides - might help you get a level or two as well, which should make things a bit easier leaving Primm.

Or, if you're (a little bit) evil, just rob everyone in Goodsprings. As long as it says [Hidden], you're good to go.

I found that playing Caravan against a merchant that has a lot of caps is a pretty easy way to get a large amount of money quickly. I played the one vendor at the Mojave Outpost, beat her and got around 600 caps (after 1 game).

Find "Gibson Scrap yard" (just north of Navoc), well, you'll find it on a side quest anyways. Old Lady Gibson has a "Big Boomer" gun. i sold it for like 1900 caps. But if your lacking weaponry, I'd keep it, its a doozy.

Ok its fairly simple. Hunt powder gangers geckos cyotes and such for money.. with animals hunt them with a melee or unarmed weapon with powder gangers use a gun or energy weapon unless your char is melee mor unarmed based.

Also be sure to forage plants on the way if you have enough survival skill to make good use of em.

Hunt, scavenge, repeat. What they all said. I will add in that the gecko hides have a 10 cap value, but with a few white horsenettle and a turpintine, you can tan them at a campfire and increase the value to 50 caps. Means my sell value went from 6 caps to 27 caps with my crappy Barter 15 skill.

There's always the Vikki and Vance casino trick.

Suffice it to say, that despite you cashing out your casino chips, they don't leave your inventory.

I'll let you deduce for yourself what that means.

Collect every item you can, and sell all the useless ones, it dosnt take long befoe you will have around 4,000+ caps.

Just remember when you are about to max out, make your way to the nearest seller / buyer / medic / caraven and trade away :)

If you have high luck gambling will make you money hand over fist, until the casinos cut you off.

Go to the Sunshine Sarsparilla building. There is a locked room with crates and crates of bottle caps.

Kewl! Haven't found it yet, but I'll keep an eye out. Wonder if that includes the Blue Star caps? I have - I think - about 15 of them now, maybe 20. Nice I can drink the sarsparilla without taking rads. Wonder if it counts as water should I ever decide to play hardcoe?

I finally reached the final step to my 'Get Rich' plan. Got my barter up high enough to get the Long Haul perk. Now to start getting EVERYTHING in site and sell it!

collect Ammo you are not using. Energy ammo is worth a nice amount per round. At one point I was up to 15,000 in caps most of it from selling repaired weapons and ammo. Then some jerk at Gun runners made the anti-material rifle available to me.

Once you get to a decent level, Combat Armor is worth literally thousands of caps. Same with Hunting Rifles.
