Sounds good to me.

Unasked suggestion: when switching, write the new one, then remove the old one. Then if something messes up inbetween, you can just look for containers with x>1 tokens, and remove the unplayable one. Think of it as the equiv of writing a file fully before deleting the original when moving - you don't want the only copy to be floating in the aether of volatile memory, or in FO3's case, of a sequence of instructions or a script variable.

Bit of a delay, folks.

The categorisation of items in Fallout is nothing like as varied as in Oblivion, so I'm having trouble breaking things into useful groups. In Oblivion, I could use the OBSE GetItemType function to sort your inventory into many types, like 'headgear', UpperBody, Legs, gloves, rings, etc, etc.

But the equivalent in Fallout breaks things into just three categories, not enough to be particularly useful.

I'm thinking it through at the moment to see how I can get around this, so it'll probably be a while... please bear with me.

Not in any way dead, just being re-thunk. :read:
