For you bucket list...try and catch the Boston Pops on the esplanade on July 4th. The 1812 playing, all the church bells ringing, and the Nat'l guard firing off Howitzers in time with the music, fireworks going off over head and 1 million of your new closest friends. Its unforgetable.....and you will associate the 1812 with the 4th of July for the rest of your life.
