Journeyman's Shack

I decided to make my first mod. I played around with CS for around 40 minutes toying with ideas. Then it hit me. Make a Journeyman's Shack. A well hidden shack in the middle of nowhere. A safe resting place and a room for supplies. It contains a few hundred gold, some armour, some weapons, potions, nordic pick, lanterns. Anything else you like bring along to dungeons so I can add it to my shack?

Well I could think of something... wait now I know... perhaps a complete alchemy set would be nice, so that you can make potions while you're resting. :)

I don't think I am going to use your mod personally, but I do have some advice.

Try to limit the number of things you give to the player "for free". Part of playing a game is earning the things in it, and believe me when I say that most people are going to prefer having to work for something, even a small shack, especially if you're going to be putting things like money in it.

Your options? You could make a small quest, or you could hide the key and make the player find it by leaving clues. You could make the shack owned and therefor require the player to kill whoever lives in it before using it for themselves. Anything is better than simply throwing things at the player for free. You'll find that people will like your mod a lot more, and it will give your mod a bit more character.
