Well, sometime after being taken away from morrowind by real life I can finally come back! And this time I'm in the mood to mess with 3DS models.
My request is the following: I got myself some beautiful 3ds models (that my brother purchased from some website, meshbox? i think) and I want to get them into morrowind as static building exteriors and interiors. The models are these beautiful pieces from http://www.elven-village.com/. I have 3ds max 5 and the exporter, but I'm a bit lost. I want to edit the models (to close come doors or remove some parts,furniture...) and then texture them and export to morrowind as static, collision is a problem, I don't know how to apply it, and I have no idea about the steps I have to follow to make them actually work with the exporter and in the game.
If anyone could be so kind to point the direction to some tutorials I'll be eternally grateful! I have already the tutorial "Modelling for Morrowind", but I need more to get this accomplished.
Thanks everyone for your time!!
P.D: Just in case someone notices, yes, I Know these models can't be redistributed in a public mod, they are meant for a personal "Summerset style" village mod, they fit so nicely with my concept art.
Thanks again!
