This looks absolutely fantastic! Let me know if you want any assistance with scripting (I've done quite a bit of companion follow and teleportation scripting at this point, both regular and MWSE) and dialogue. I'll also give you my "Wizzard" hat. I still need to finish the versions with hair, but that shouldn't take too long. I thought it would be great if it was found in the chest. :)

There's a few Discworld movies, most of them animated. I loved the animated version of Wyrd Sisters. The comic timing on the voice actor's line delivery was absolutely spot on in that one. I was only vaguely aware of the video game though. I forgot completely about it.

There are two DOS games: Discworld and Discworld 2.

This looks great, AA. :goodjob:

It's been about 3 month's. have any of y'all got near release status yet. I can't wait to run around morrowind with a totally homicidal, magically impervious chest that can hold practically anything.

I'm not sure. I've still got my hat sitting around on my hard drive, but I haven't heard anything from Arcimaestro Anteres about this since his last post in this thread. I would like to know myself what has become of it. :)

Ah ... my version of the Luggage ... the luggage part is done .. but the quest to get it I never finished.
I didn't want to make mine just like the TP version ... I wanted it to be inspired by TP for sure but 100% MW.

I'll take a look at this ..maybe I'll just release it without a quest to get it.

although i know that the luggage is expected to have that many legs but...
i'd prefer legs that look more like they actually belong to the chest. similar to http://hi.atgimg.com/img/p/2413/7676.jpg but shorter...
so, Antares, if you have some spare time could you make an alternate model with such legs?

Pretty please with sugar on top...

I love them both. Please do release it Darknut! Have you written the companion scripting for the chest yet? I could help if you want. I would help with both luggage mods in this area if asked. Melian made several advances in companion scripting, especially for following while levitating through load doors. I've implemented and tested this scripting for my three companions in UL and it's far more reliable. It's almost a necessity for mage type characters. ;)

I could probably whip up a quick script demo .esp using a pack guar. Some of my ideas are:

- Proper PortFollow and Warp scripting
- Not a telepathy ring, but a summoning ring for the creature
- AI fixes for an issue caused by teleporting while in combat (a problem for a fighting chest, for a non-fighting chest, stopcombat pacifist modes would have to be used instead of SetFlee to prevent it entirely)
- Positioning fixes for following while levitating through a load door

I like both ideas for luggage. I think DN's luggage looks more "morrowind-ish", but the other luggage is amazing as well. Nice work! :)

And yes, I really want to see this get released too!

All the companion scripts are done ... it follows. waits ..etc ... gets mad & runs off sometimes

Ah ok. I'd love to see its scripting. If anyone's curious, I've already finished the first beta for an advanced pack guar and uploaded it here: http://roadhunter.com/~stuporstar/files/Packguar_Advanced_Beta.rar

I've almost finished the scripting. This was the whole reason I developed Packguar Advanced, so I could just port the scripts over and use them for this purpose. Quests and such will come later, but I should have a fully functional Luggage companion ready for beta testing later tonight.
