I honestly don't know what to say now, because I've tried to explain this over and over and it doesn't seem to be getting through. I'm gonna try one last time, and leave this last post in the thread. If you can't understand this, then I'm sorry, but I'm not gonna try and explain it anymore.
I like games with challenges, and I have nothing against a game with a challenge. I never have, and I never will. The only thing I have a problem with is that some games make completely unreasonable challenges that in no way whatsoever reflect my skill at the game, and are nothing but pure 100% frustration. If I can't complete one or two challenges, I'm not gonna "act like a child" and get rid of the game, I'll keep trying until I can finish it. But if I see all of the challenges work like this
Tier One: Easy
Tier Two: Medium
Tier Three: "I Would Rather Gouge My Eyes Out"
Then yeah, I'm gonna return the game and play something that isn't frustrating like that.
If a game does nothing but frustrate me, am I a child for wanting to return it? No, I'm not.
I've already explained I've done things like Halo 3 on Mythic, I've beaten numerous games on their highest difficulty, and I had a damn fun time playing them, but what's frustrating me about this thread is all of you are acting like I don't want a challenge, I want everything handed to me on a silver platter, and that I've never played a game on anything other than easy. I get that you're trying to be respectful, but I'm not really seeing it when you keep accusing me of not wanting a challenge and assuming I can't play a game, get to an impossible spot, then immediately cry over it.
