I dunno.... I already thought it weird they were in Oblivion.... I mean the daedric followers just gathering around huge statues of daedric princes in the heart of the empire.... daedric worship isn't really well seen in the empire. Or by the Nords who have their own version of the Nine Divines.... I mean I'd be fine with secret shrines in remote or hidden places, but not just smack in the middle of the place for everyone to stumble upon... Oblivion's take on this was just... awkward. You see a nice big statue from far away. When you get there your greeted by some overly joyous Lady welcoming you and bidding you to try talking to the statue and BOOM your on a quest for a daedric prince... I hate bringing it up again, but Morrowind's daedric shrines were much more immersive/believable were as most of them were secret, underground, and its followers would practically attack you on sight in order to protect their place of worship... and thats in the Dunmer's homeland, where daedrea worship was widespread before the Temple began cracking all the worshipers skulls for the Tribunal!!
...and I'd actually prefer quests of the sort related to less known Daedric princes, seeing as it was more or less the same ones in Morrowind and Oblivion... receiving Goldbrand from Boethiah or Azura's Star from Azura is getting kinda old etc.., I dont mind them being in the game but its a bit lame when you know what reward you'll get before you even start the quest...
