Un-texturable Land?

Post » Mon Sep 20, 2010 12:05 pm

I'm trying to change the textures of the ground and in some places I get squares of terrain that are seemingly "untexturable"...

Anyone know how to solve this? It's really bugging me. I'm not using custom textures or anything like that... :(

Ah yes. Those 'squares' are cells of exterior worldspace. They each can only have oh so many different textures in them, 7. Though it looks to me like your using only one solid one... Hitting 'B' will show you yellow and black dashes lines around each cell. If these line up with your textures, this is your problem (or if it lines up with the 'Quads' of the cells). While in landscape editor mode, hit I. This pops up a little menu that shows you all the textures your using. If there are 7 of them, you cannot put any more. You must delete one (click it then hit the delete key) to be able to place another one. Let me know if this is the problem, and solution.
