What do you think the game play will be like?

Each elder scrolls has put a more substantial effort in game play of the series, most specifically the game play difference between morrowind and oblivion.
What do you think Skyrims game play will be like, do you think they will lean the game play more towards morrowind or oblivion? I liked oblivions game play more than morrowind as for myself though.

In the GI issue, it mentions how the gameplay works. And it's totally new, it has nothing to do with Morrowind and Oblivion. It also sounds very [censored] awesome!

Skyrim's gameplay will be just like Skyrim's gameplay that is similar to Skyrim's gameplay!

The only real differences that we know of are about the combat, which seems more tactical now and the new crafting, cooking etc. jobs. More than that is just speculation.

I have a feeling Bethesda played some Demon's Souls and will work on the combat and the 3rd person view. They keep mentioning how they want the combat to really feel intense and the changes they made (slow running backwords) to make it look right in 3rd person.

Spell-casting is getting another huge boost with dual-casting.

I'm quite excited about this!

While Morrowind was the better game, Oblivion had much better combat and spell-casting.

Slightly faster game play and slightly better combat/movement animations

I'm not expecting a big leap from Oblivion to Skyrim in terms of graphics/animation/gameplay

It was also said that the 3rd person was revamped to look and feel great.

Third person will definitely look and play better then it's predecessors. I long to play a ES game in third person.

I don't think I ever used 3rd person in Oblivion. There just never seemed to be a point. Hopefully they make it better but don't make 1st person worse by doing so.

I expect a pretty big leap in terms of awesomeness.

Oblivion had 6 months with final hardware, and it still turned out pretty well.

Skyrim? 4 years.

Awesome.
