For someone who's never had a clue about mods and Geck up until only a month ago or so, where would you recommend I start if I want to learn basics to make my own mods? I've been looking at geck.gamesas.com but my parents probably should've added more Special points into Intelligence when they built me, because I'm getting lost very quickly staring at pictures and text that confuses me

Sounds like you at the same stage as me with the GECK :wacko: , in currently making a player home for myself and have so far only learned layout, clutter and meshes, i found it easier to load the tutorials available at youtube in one window and load the GECK tutorials in another and just keep watching and reading, admittidly it sent me up the wall at first but just persavere and youll get there with the basics.

would also love to hear some advice from the more experianced modders :tops:

Thanks for your advice, I'll look into the youtube tutorials, I only had a look at one so far and I felt that it was pretty far away from the stage where I am heh

Do the Vault 74 tutorial for Fallout 3. You will have to make adjustments for the game differences, but its the best place to start.
