Fallout 3 Machinima

Post » Thu Sep 23, 2010 4:34 pm

Hey guys. My friend and I have been working out a Fallout 3 Machinima that we named Thrown Out. In brief its about 2 friends who end up getting kicked out of Vault 101 and have to make it out on their own. I'd like to know what everyone thought. Please leave feedback here or on the youtube or machinima.com accounts. The links are:

please tell me what you think =]

That was pretty well made :)

The one thing is, one of them didnt have the greatest voice acting... I know its a difficult thing to do (as I'm trying to voice act for my mod and it always sounds like crap), it was the one with the starting monolog. The one that cuts in as the "side kick" actually did pretty good. The story was good, and it was funny. He is like "Stop!" and the guy just runs past, and even waits like 5 seconds for the door to open, that was good haha. And how the c4 is a "dud" and he is like "Awww, what the *BOOM*" ahah. Good cant wait to see the next one :)

haha yeah. i would be the crappy voiceacting. however. we just wanted to finish the first episode. lol. but i assure you my voice acting does get better. especially since i never voice acted before. but thanks for the reply. and we plan on having an episode every month. one thing we were worried about were people not getting the subtle jokes. but you hit the one with the theif running past my character on the head. and thanks for the support.

Really good dude! I've never known fan-created stuff like this exists but it's pretty neat. Keep up the good work, friend!

Nice one mate, I enjoyed that, keep it up and I know you've mentioned about the voice acting but don't worry I'm sure you'll be able to work on that :).

so how did you get the lip synching to work? it looks ridiculously complicated the few times i read into it...like excruciating hours of detailed labor.

i'm not going to explain it here, because it's irrelevant, but it's not as complicated as it seems. it takes some patience to get used to, and it's time consuming and monotonous, but it's not hard at all.
