Oblivion only recognizing default graphics card.

I'm not sure if this is even an issue or not, but it has been bothering me ever since I decided to install Oblivion on this laptop. This laptop has two graphics cards, the integrated Intel HD Graphics and then an NVidia GeForce GT 420M. However, when I open up Oblivion's video settings, it only allows me to select the Intel HD Graphics as the adapter, the NVidia card doesn't even show up in the drop down menu. Like I said, I'm not sure if this is even an issue or not, but the NVidia card is better and I'm more than a little confused as to why it doesn't show up.

Thanks for any and all responses.

Sounds like one of the hybrid notebooks that uses Optimus drivers to switch between integrated and dedicated chips. This is problem in the Fallout games as well and the problem lies within the game and the drivers just not getting along. I believe there's a solution in "whitelisting" the game within the Optimus drivers...and make sure you have the latest one. I'm sure if you google hard enough, you'll find an answer.

Here's one of many threads I've found:

The information in the link provided appears to have fixed the issue, thanks for the help!

And I had tried googling it a couple times, I guess I just didn't have the patience or I wasn't typing in the proper keywords to get it to pop up. Again, appreciate the help!
