All the new forum members!

Well I'm exaggerating a bit, it doesn't make me scream "bwaaah!", it's just a bit annoying. I'm just going to stay out of the New Vegas section for a while until things settle down. Mostly I run into people using all caps lock, text message grammar, and the ones that rant about every small shortcoming in the game. I know when Fallout 3 came out it was pretty much the same as this, maybe worse, and if I recall right Oblivion was far worse. A lot of them are cool though, I guess most internet forums have their own personality. This one seems to be a bit more proper, most other game forums are rather... uhh... obnoxious and annoying. Anyway, what do you think about the new generation of forumers? Do you welcome them or do you prefer to have the somewhat secluded little community we had before all this burst of life?

It'll settle down. Some will stay, some will go, some will be eaten by Ernesto or the cyber-chinchillas. 'Tis how things cycle.

I post over there, its no the easiest thing but if I see a topic that will not end will I steer clear.I am actually kind of looking forward to see which members from over there will stick around and spread to CD.

All of the complaint threads have slowed a little, instead of 4 or 5 on the front page its like 1 or 2.

I have been to the NV forums. Mostly Mods and the Hardware section. Most of the very vocal complaints I've seen seem to have come from the newest members.

i do believe that a sizable amount of the new members won't stay around for too long, but some will hang around and likely be productive members here .

It could be worse.....they could be anonymous . But thankfully the CD button is well hidden.

For some reason, the way this is worded makes me think of "Beyond the pale"

Clearly they are lying, trying to lock us out of the CD.

I haven't been here during a big new member spike, and I must say, I am horrified. What if they somehow find the secret stronghold of CD? How will we defend!?

Don't worry, the same thing will happen as when Fallout 3 was released. There will be an influx of people whinning and complaining, then they''ll either A. Give up and go away or B. Conform to what standards we have here.

Patience young one.
