Northern Passage accessible : Fallout: New Vegas

Today I was able to get inside the Northern Passage, all the boulders were gone and I was able to go inside. Inside was a tunnel that went straight forward to a cave entrance on the other side which read mojave wasteland. I couldn't go any farther than that though so it seems to me that these will be the portal for Honest Hearts. Has anyone else gotten inside? I am on the 360 and my friend tried on the pc and wasn't able to get in.

Did you fast travel there? From the wiki:

"Sometimes the blockage preventing access will be removed when fast-travelling to the area, opening up a passage lined with lanterns leading only to a door with the option "Exit to the Mojave Wasteland", which does nothing when selected."

the patch didn't do that I'm pretty sure it was the fast travel glitch

Its a glitch, but it might just be showing us whats in there. Hell if I know.

confirmed, I just tried and fast travelled there and it was open, like stated a tunnel with lanterns and at the end an opening which of course you cannot go into yet....PLEASE HH hurry up and show your face :cryvaultboy:

I didn't fast travel there, I have before and it's never been open before either.

I found it on ps3 version, but couldn't get inside. That is very strange, it must be for a add-on.

It's got to be for Honest Hearts, just like the Canyon Wreckage is for Lonesome Road.

Same man, So its part of one of the DLC, Seeing as when you go to the end it says Leave the Mojave Wasteland

Steam just updated my copy of FNV, but the Northern Passage is still inaccessible to me via a normal (i.e. non fast travel) visit.

I was ableto do this after i downloaded dead money on the xbox.
