Will there even be video games then? I think all we would have to do to play Fallout would be step outside our front doors..
There were movies being made back in 1940. I'm assuming video games will still be a form of entertainment in 70 years, as they've already been around at home for at least 38 years, right? If they do exist at that time, will they be virtual reality games, though? What kind of TVs will we be watching? Will the colony of the moon be a bustling city? If we were living 1000 years ago, the answer might not be so mysterious, but in this time, perhaps moreso than in any other time in human history, technology is advancing very rapidly. I start to feel old by remembering using cassettes and playing 2D video games, and I'm only 16 years old. The internet, which, by all that I'm aware of, only became a widespread thing in the past 10-15 years allows people from across the world to communicate in seconds. Cellphones certainly have an impressive and relatively new capability of doing the same things, and a video game that was difficult for the new, large computers of 1994 to run is now running on Freddo's phone.
