MCP Shiny Problem

Post » Sat Oct 02, 2010 4:34 am

The MCP Shiny fix makes the ebony cuirass shiny, but the rest of the armor the normal dull armor it is.

Typically, the normal thing to do would be to turn it off, but I kinda like it. Is there a way to make the rest of the armor match up?

? I can't think of any reason why it would be editing vanilla armor, since it doesn't have bump/normal maps applied. Can you take a screenshot of this phenomenon?

Bethesda left a reflection effect on the original ebony cuirass model. It just didn't show up until I fixed the code. You'll have to extract and edit the armour NIFs to have a reflection effect texture.

Little hard to notice without moving the camera.

How on earth do I edit the NIFs?

I was wondering about that to, I just assumed that one of my texture replacers caused it.
