How exactly do you fix these errors?

Post » Sun Oct 03, 2010 10:27 am

Error messages from mods that say something like.. Model Load error: MeshesWARNwHr\NZ\1\WAR_zN_fHr1d.nif cannot load file in MeshesWARNwHr\NZ\1\WAR_zN_fHr1d.nif. Will use the default object marker_error nif. (which I presumei is the yellow question mark thingy. I have like 1 or 2 of these messages everytime I load the game from MCA. I was wondering how do you fix these without reinstalling the mod. Are there any tools or programmes to help with this? Please Reply :(

Are you using MCA v6? If so you need to download Westley's Master Head Pack if you haven't already.

i blame the fact that it was self extracting..... most of the time i'll open the file, check the readme, then drop it in.... with self extracting archives, i don't get that immediate 'oh hey let's see what the readme says' moment.

We're supposed to read the readmes?

I check them only for installation instructions if the the mod is unconventionally packaged or has lot of optional esps, it's the stupid "Reading instructions is for losers!" mindset i suppose

Had this thread not come along, i would started to enable mods one at a time to see which one was causing it, and eventually found the information :D
