Obmm Question: Re-install Overwrites

Post » Sun Oct 03, 2010 7:56 pm

I have a post going http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1051762-relz-cobl-races-relz/page__gopid__15760932&#entry15760932 about an issue which has caused another separate issue.

I'm trying to re-do my Cobl installation. It's telling me the stuff is already there and do I want to overwrite it all? The answer would be yes - for all files - what is that? Maybe 5000 files? I have no idea. I was clicking until forever because there's no "Do you want to overwrite? Yes or No - check this box to apply to all files"

How can I avoid spending all day clicking to overwrite these files? Is there a setting in OBMM that will help me?

I think you have to press Shift when clicking yes(I think it's specified in the first messagebox you get, isn't it?).

It's possible, I probably missed that. Thanks I'll try it.

It's Ctrl-click. Had the same question myself today when installing something else and found the answer in the FAQ in the OBMM Help Screen.

Thanks because the Shift+click wasn't working. Sometimes I'm able to say "No - don't notify me about overwrites" but not always.
