We also have several allies, both in NATO, and not in NATO.

Fourth largest country in the world (after Russia, Canada, and China).
Cultural
Controls the world culturally through media, popular culture, the internet, and businesses. Hollywood is the home of the movie industry. The US is the only country allowed to use the internet TLDs of .us, .gov, .mil, .edu, whereas other countries can only use a specific TLD for their country. The US also invented the internet, with ARPANET. American businesses are also seen throughout the world, such as McDonald's, Wal-Mart, Coca-Cola, Starbucks, and other businesses.
Military
The US has the most powerful military in the world. All branches of the US military are the best in the world. The US also has military bases across the globe, and the US leads NATO. Also has enough nuclear weapons to destroy the entire world several dozen times over.
Economic
Largest economy in the world. Large resources of minerals, energy resources, metals, and timber, large and modernized farming industry and enormous industrial base. Home to many large global corporations. US Dollar as the dominant world reserve currency under Bretton Woods Conference. Western economic theory based on supply and demand: production determined by customers' demands. Allied with G7 major economies. Supported allied countries' economies via such programs as the Marshall Plan.
