So basically I can put up with all the game bugs and freezing this game CONSTANTLY has but I was wondering if there is any way to assure that your safe file will not get corrupted? Maybe If you turn off auto save or something because its the saving while it freezes that corrupts it right? I love this game and would be destroyed if my 80+ save file was deleted...

I always turn off autosave in a games.

I also keep a trail of milestone saves (generally made right before important events or decisions) and my normal play cycles through 4-6 files. If a save were corrupted I wouldn't loose much since I have so many back ups.

You don't HAVE TO turn off the auto-save, just don't solely depend on it.
