Chances the patch will be released for Turkey weekend? : Fallout: New Vegas

You guys think patch 1.02 will be released for PS3 by Turkey weekend in the US?

Last time (patch 1.01) Gstaff posted they were about to release patches, they did so 6 days later...

If this trend continues, it should be released Thursday the 24th.

A single occurance does not signify a trend, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

It doesnt look like it'll be out this weekend. As soon as we know when it's available, we'll start updating you guys.

Final touches have been going on since the 19th, and I would like to know when it's so-close-to-ready-but-not (1 or 2 days).

Soon has been too late. I just went through 3 restarts due to freezing in less than an hour. Time to put this game on the shelf and go buy GT5 to keep me busy. Hopefully the eventual fix solves this issue so I don't feel like I wasted some cash.

Nothing to do with the PS3. gamesas have released a product that's faulty on all platforms, so everyone's getting the shaft, 360, PC and PS3 alike. The PC's had one more patch but it's still got major issues.

I'm on my 2nd playthrough, have a total of around 140 hours in, PC version. It's crashed on me half a dozen times and I had to reload once when Boone went into a weird reloading fit, but other than that, I've been really lucky.

Still looking forward to seeing what this patch does tho.

Only half a dozen crashes in 140 hours sounds sweet to me.

The patch should come before they release the Xbox DLC. I believe that was the plan all along. We should be expecting the patch to drop probably between now and Dec 21 or whenever the DLC comes...at least that's what I think.

I wish it would come out soon. I want to play this game but all the lock ups and other bugs drive me insane. Also Black Ops is getting old to me and nothing new is really coming out until next year. Come on you tech guys, let's get this fix out!!

doubt it... i bet they release them same day or the day before the DLC. if the patch ends up being a bust they're going to want people to shell out their money with a false sense of security seeing as they just got a patch.

example:

"Oh man, a patch! i bet they fixed everything, played 2 hours and everything seems ok, I guess I'll go ahead and buy the DLC."

2 weeks later...

"WTF this game is STILL jacked up... oh well, i guess I'll play the DLC when the next patch gets released."

I think the name for this topic still applies. Obsidian is giving 2k a run for it's money as far delayed (or existent) patches go (see: Bioshock 2). Hopefully we get a patch before Thanksgiving 2011.

The patch will come out (I'm assuming) the same day as when the DLC is released for the 360 (so, that would make it sometime in December). That how it was with Fallout 3, well most of the times anyway..

I hope not. Otherwise this will be the last Bethesda game I buy.

Maybe I won't even play it anymore, because they took so damn long.

If Bethesda can't patch it before the DLC, they shouldn't bother at all, because it shows what they really care about.

Releasing something like this would have been only mediocre in 2008, but it's 2010, and developers need to be AWARE of that.

Absolutely disgraceful.
