(This is an Enclave friendly RP. I've always wanted to do one for a change of pace and scenery.)

Story:

James L. "Tiger" Tigoro was sitting, eating a prepackaged lunch, on a prepackaged chair, in a prepackaged room, in a prepackaged base, just more and more of the same, the Enclave was. And he was sick of it. He had seen the outside, and he had known what it was like to be in combat. The adrenaline pumping through you, time slowing to an unbearably slow, yet uncontrollably fast crawl. You or him.

That was all gone now, apparently he had been to good at it. Too valuable of an asset to be sent out into danger, they said to him. He had been desk jobbed, but one fine day his reprieve came. It was in the form of an announcement from President J. H. Eden himself. Normally it was one of his countless subordinates, or their subordinates, or theirs, but this must've been important. The announcement was:

"For far, far too long, we have watched the Brotherhood of Steel defile our nation's greatest monuments, institutions, and landmarks. I say that we need to put it to a stop. Their "Citadel" needs to be purged, and the Pentagon, our nations FINEST offices of security, retaken. We know of their brute power, there is no way in through brute force alone. I believe that a hand picked squad of our finest man, though, could get in. If we hold their Citadel, we hold thier power. If we hold their power, then we hold them. This squad needs a leader, the finest operative we've seen in years. Would James L. Tigoro please report to my office?"

He approached the monolithic computer that only a select few knew was our president. "Yes, Mr. Eden?"

"This squad you are to command will be equipped with our finest stealth and armor, bu I know the need of a combat operative to choose his own preferred weapon, so you and your squad will have full access to the "Stealth Weapons" section of our armory. We will now begin recruiting." Then, into the intercom,"Would all soldiers wishing to be part of a stealth and espionage squad please report to Briefing room #1, those without extensive combat experience need not apply."

RPers Needed: 4 for the Enclave Squad, 4 for the Lyons' Pride. (For the purposes of the story, it has been completely overhauled)

Character Sheet is as follows

Name:

Appearance:

Armor: (This is set as Enclave STAR (Stealth And Reconnaissance) armor)

Weapon:(Needs to be conventional, as far as I know, Energy Weapons cannot be silenced, necessary for getting into the Citadel)

Biography:

Preferred Side: (Lyon's Pride or Pack of Tiger's (the attack squad's nickname)

Preferred Role: (N/A for Lyons' Pride, Roles are: Technician (Taken by me), Designated Marksman (Open), Demolitions (Open), Assault 1 (Open), Assault 2 (Open)

Normal Brotherhood soldiers are killable by all Squad members, Player Vs. Player is allowed but needs to be reasonable (Read "So You Think You can RP?")

I think this is an interesting idea, and hope that it will have members

Taking the Citadel, via the Enlcave is really not all that original, though since there is only one Rp going on right now(or 2) another one would be awesome right now(I personally would not be able to join though). But I really want to see a fast-paced action packed Rp right now.

On another not, I seriously hope your not counting on sixteen people on joining, right? There's no way that would happen, it would also make it extremely hard to control if sixteen people did join. Cut it by at least half and then your getting reasonable.

Also, P vs P is pretty hard to manage because people like to live(I'm fine w/ dying though) so I hope you know what your doing if your going to do that.

Other than that, this is pretty linear, so if you do get people, it will probably do well. But it doesn't allow for alot of creativity on the players part, all in all this should work out pretty well(as long as you don't hope on sixteen people joining.)

It's good to see the forum picking up again, fan fictions are on the rise and now there's a few Rp's. I have been craving an action Rp, but there are just a few problems here.

As Yttrium has previously said, people don't like their characters dying or loosing. I, for one, prefer my characters to live (win or loose) and I think you will find if people's character's do die, they will want them to go down in a blaze of glory (such as self sacrifice for the greater good etc). Also having characters die can lead to quite a bit of character control conducted by other players which leads to fights/flaming.

Another problem with this Rp is the plot. It's very simple, there's no real depth, you need to go into detail. For instance, when is this set? Is before or after the events of the Lone Wanderer? Is there even a Lone Wanderer? Your character talking to President Eden suggests that they are located in Raven Rock, if so, was it before the LW's time? Does this mean the Enclave weren't successful? Or is it set after the Lone Wanderer's time? Which would mean Raven Rock doesn't exist anymore. You see what I'm getting at? Because it's so simple it's quite confusing. It's ok to say there was never a Lone Wanderer or that this is an alternate ending, you just need go into depth and be specific so that everyone understands.

One last thing about the plot is that it seems incredibly short. From what I've read it appears that the Enclave just has to take the citadel and it's game over. When I read the opening post, I got the impression of one major battle and then, finish, it's not very appealing. Although I may have got the wrong idea, perhaps you have a lot more planned but this is what I mean by giving detail.

At the end of the day this is only my opinion, others may feel different but I wanted to give some constructive criticism. You can take it on board or dismiss it completely, sorry if I sounded a bit negative. I do commend you on the fact that you are writing and hosting an Rp, it's good to see things come back to life. Good luck with it and who knows, I may even sign up.

I'd be willing to be the Designated Marksman. But the PvP won't work, so I suggest you cut out the option to be in the Lyon's Pride.
