add polearm (spears)
if we still have light and heavy armour skills. then we need medium and unarmoured. if armour skills are scraqed, thats ok. we are going to assume that medium armour gets some good sets so it can compete with light and heavy, and that light and heavy are more different

perks
some perks need to be earned when you get to a milestone in a skill
1:blunt and blade should now have polearm
i wouldent mind short/long blades being added
perks should help the player by boosting two handed weapons/one handed weapons/dual wielding. this should happen across everything. being good at blade may result in specialization in two handers, which would possitively effect blunt weapons that are two handed like battleaxes
perks should help the player make little preferences (upgrading axes or hammers/maces- choosing between upgrading spears or halberds- choosing to favour asian/imperial/nordic blade designs)
2:with destruction, perks should allow players to favour an element (fire, frost, electricity) to make it so that those spells are easier to cast- or even do less damage to the player. players should also be allowed to make other spells such as destroying armour cheaper to use
3: with conjuration.perks should allow
the player to specialize in summoning from a certain plane (mehrunes dagon would allow easier conjuration on scamps, dremora, clanfears and another daedric plane could be another set of daedra)
reanimate spell could be better with perks
there should be a perk that makes a summoned creature last a few seconds longer, or be a little stronger, or have more health.
with restoration and illusion. perks should probably allow spell effects to last a little longer than their effects said so, or be more potent.
random stuff
learning how to pour smaller soul gems into bigger ones, or pouring souls from larger gems to many smaller ones
learning how to make animals slightly less agressive
learning skills to help talking to different races (and non playable races such as dremora/intelligent creatures such as dragons)
these are just exaples
some perks need to be chosen when you raise in level
examples....
leaning how to craft asian weaponry, so long as your smithing is at a certain level.
learning a dragon chant
becoming more resistant to disease
more critical hits
doing more dammage to a specific type of enemy
something akin to fallouts lady killer/black widow
some stuff should just happen
becoming less afraid of a certain type of enemy because of fighting them lots
becoming more resistant to drugs
weapons degrading slowe
