Will there be seperate save folders for each character?

Post » Fri Oct 08, 2010 1:05 am

I hate how all of the save files from all characters are jumbled together in Oblivion, FO3, and FONV. Is it really too much to ask so lazy people like me can avoid deleting/loading incorrect files by mistake?

Would be a really nice feature. One of the things i really liked about Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

Sadly obvious things are often the most overlooked...

This is really important for me to have. You wouldn't believe if I told you how many of my favorite characters I've overwritten with others by mistake. I really liked it in Dragon Age and Mass Effect, there's no downside to it.

I agree! I can't even count the number of times I have accidentally saved over my main save because I make a new save and I am just so use to going to that save when I save I just go strait to it and press A without even thinking.

I really hope so. It's annoying when you accidentally save over your 200+ hour character with one you just created :sadvaultboy: I did that one to many times... Now I keep like 3 saves per character.

I have never had this problem personally (Possibly because I name my characters based on the kind of character it is i.e. Merchant, Warrior, Battlemage, etc.), but if it happens to other people then they might as well.

I would also like to NAME my saves. Not complicated to implement, and hell useful.
I'm tired of trying to guess at what state of the game i was in "savegame 98098769776473"

However, the most important thing would be for the auto-save and quick-save files to be separated by character as well. Without that, separating save files by character isn't really that important to me.

A must if you ask me.

I use a community made save game manager, it would be nice not to have to though. The less I have to install to fix these issues the better. Gets me playing faster.
