accessing and editing previous files

I tried to open a mod to work on, when I tried to save I had to save it under a different name.
This results in me having two separate mods and all the extras are in a different cell, iv'e tried putting it in the original cell but it never saves to the same one, when I try and run the mods at once the extras don't appear.
I was adding lighting, changing the containers and adding path grits to my original mod. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=32256
please help this has happend three times before, so I have now three unfinished mods lying around.
:flamethrower: help me burn My Problems please

In order to save changes to your mod without having to rename it, you must set it as the Active file before you load it.
