That scene always plays. Remember, they've been under attack for some time before your Warden shows up. Teagan tells you they've lost people and one more attack might wipe them out.

I'm annoyed about the voiced player character, taking ranged attacks away from warriors, no dual-wielding warriors, and using the ME/ME2 dialogue hints with icons that are supposed to magically make it better.

At this point, especially since they haven't announced Hawke's voice actors yet, I don't plan to buy the game. Depending on who they are, I may get it eventually. I may not; DA:O is a favorite because it wasn't Mass Dragon Age Effect. Sometimes separate styles should stay separate.

Ouch! What level was your party? I do have to admit it's really hard to keep everyone alive due to the abysmal ally AI.

It's just what happened last year when the trailer for the original game was released, in this very thread, people seemed to think they cheapened the game. :shrug:
