No, I do not have any official or unofficial information from Bethesda about it. I do programming for living and this is my realistic assessment based on my professional experience. Sheer amount and scale of bugs, number of these discovered daily points clearly to one conclusion: game is broken beyond repair. Many areas of it must be restructured and rewritten from clean slate, some processes need to be changed on conceptual level (saves, script interaction with graphics engine etc). We are now in situation that number of bugs discovered daily by far exceeds number of bugs fixed, and from my experience - when bugs are fixed in rush because of such situation, many of fixes will generate new, hard to track bugs adding to general pool. Bethesda would need a year to fix it right, and they do not have it. This is slowly dawning on them now. Game should have been released in the next year. Right now they are fighting against time and gamers opinion pressure, and clearly loosing. They need significant patch now, but this is quite impossible task.
That's the shame. Game has a great story, aesthetics and hired acting talent. It is also complete fiasco in execution.
