Hi, I got two questions.

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 4:46 am

Will this part ruin a story and Divayth Fyr's happiness when I use chameleon from magic or an item, Disintegrate spells, and pocketpick after his items' durability is gone?

I need Daedric pauldrons off from him. lol

And another question is... I am stuck at level 74. When I train spells, will it allow me to level up more after joining a new faction?

Thanks a lot

The shoulderpads can be obtained in the expansions. If you don't have them, just finish his part in the main quest, and his body is yours to kill and loot. Unless you want to do his quest for House Telvanni, of course.

Misc skills don't earn you exp to level up. If you're really stuck, just go to jail multiple times so your skills diminish, then learn them again. Levels you up.

I can't kill Divayth Fyr. That would ruin the story. That's what I read from http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Divayth_Fyr

I am not sure about what I asked would ruin the story or not. I really have too many potions. I made them for magicka and health. That's why I was asking.

Nope, what you do is create a damage armour and calm humanoid spell, or an enchanted item that can do that and cast it on him. If you use chameleon to attack him he will still know and pwn you Then you pickpocket him, the only thing about this is that it takes thosands of casts, so it will literally be faster to play the expansions or pass him on the main quest and kill him.

Edit: it will only ruin the story if you kill him before you get cured from curprus

Killing Divayith will make his quest in the main story impossible. If you've already completed it, killing him won't affect anything.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about calm humanoid spell. I don't think it's going to be thousands of casts because I used spellmaking from an npc and increased from low points for Disintegrate spells to 100 points. That's why I created too many potions for magicka. I actually did that to Divayth Fyr before. I started to think that it may be a bad result like ruining the story or happiness. Thank you guys for answering. I will do it again. :) I plan to try the expansions someday.

My character really never goes to the jail. My friend told me that it's a bad idea about going to the jail

You can kill Divayth Fyr once you have reached the part in the main quest where Caius Cosades returns to the mainland. There will be no problems then with the rest of the main quest.

You also need to be aware that if you intend to join Telvanni, then Fyr is needed for a quest in that.

There is a way of completing the main quest without Fyr. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Yagrum_Bagarn_and_Wraithguard

lol To kill Vivec.... Vivec hurts so much.... I tested on Vivec while I fought him once long time ago. Vivec won... By the way, is that possible for me to get two wraithguard items? Like after Vivec gives me wraithguard for killing Dagoth Ur, I kill Vivec for another wraithguard.

It is, unless you have the unofficial morrowind patch (MPP) because they fix it. They also make the one you get from killing him look identical to the one you get from him.

Cool! Thanks! I will ask more questions later. I am not ready for that mission. I know that the main quest for that mission is too hard for me to understand after I read the quest from uesp.net. Their explanation is too long. That is all about after Vivec gives you wraithguard for killing Dagoth Ur.

You can probably search my posts to find a way to relieve his armor while keeping him alive.

Vivec is easy, just dodge his spells and he switches to hand to hand eventually. Then he's easy peasy.

first question.... i don't really know what to answer

second question... go to moonmoth fort then buy a drain destruction skill from them, go to the high elf lady in balmora's mages guild and make a spell that drains a skill 100 on self then go to a trainer that can train that skill, you can get your skills up to two hundred if you find a master.
