Who Haymon Cameron is a tougher nut to crack. Praise be to til again for the folowing quote from the timeline:
Source: A Brief History of the Empire, The Fall of the Usurper.
Haymon, the Camoran Usurper, conquers eastern Valenwood. Haymon's claim to the Camoran throne and his very origins are still debated by historical scholars. The most persistent legend is that he was the progeny of a Breton woman and the daedra Molag Bal. Certainly his army was largely supernatural, but so was that of his archfoe, the Baron of Dwynnen.

I'm happy to entertain other theories, but looking at the Lore I have been able to trace I would like to think that Haymon's mother was a Bosmer who lived in Dwynnen and that he got his sorcerous powers through a 'necromantic' link - simply because that would explain why he decided to conquer Hammerfell and High Rock rather than Cyrodiil. And assuming he was born in that Castle at Dwynnen gives him a powerful motive to want to wish ill on Baron Othrok of that Province who is said to have conquered the castle with an army of animals and men - a closing of a circle.
The Baron using animals to conquer Dwynnen and kick out the resident Lich from Castle Wighmoor and his various undead sounds very Bosmer - though there may be Breton magics that cover that aspect.
It would be harder to make sense if the first Baron of Dwynnen was Haymon's father - and that astonishing army of undead Haymon raised suggests that he has to have enormous power from somewhere.
There are two sides to his power
About the only famous necromantic daddy in that region to provide that necro link would be Manimarco - making the mother a Camoran heir. Unless Manimarco has a Camoran background? - more research needed there
The other side of Haymon was that his army contained Daedra ... and that does link nicely with Molag Bal - but then Molag Bal would not let his grandson be controlled by another Daedra, would he? It was NOT Molag Bal who controlled Mankar.
I guess some may stay with the Breton mother idea that I have heard of - but it does not seem to go anywhere unless Manimarco was a Camoran/Bosmer.
Any thoughts? Can anyone fill in the gaps? Do you think Haymon was always Bosmer and lived in Valenwood, whatever?
